Ghost town wallpaper tells a story of life in the early days at these towns and sometime gives us clues of the age of the buildings. It was often used to cover the cracks between logs or rough-cut boards, so design might not have been important to some people. Newspapers and magazines blocked the drafts at Leesburg and Custer. The military articles at Leesburg were pasted on the wall upside down, so the photo was flipped for this gallery.
