Amos: Interpreter of the Shoshone and Bannock Indian languages, Pony Express rider, father of 24 children, Bishop in the LDS church for 30 years, baptized Chief Washakie and 200 natives of the Shoshone tribe, elected to the 13th territorial legislature of Idaho in 1885.
Loella: Married Amos Russell Wright at the age of 16, he was 45. Raised 12 children mostly by herself in a two room cabin after living in hiding for 6 years to avoid testifying against her husband for living in polygamy. Succeeded in getting an education for the younger children at Utah State University after Amos died.
