Map Rock along the Snake River near Melba, Idaho, owned by Canyon County. It is said to be the most well known rock art in the state.
Shoshone-Bannock people, reported to be up to 12,000 years old. The animals on the inset are located in the shadow on the lower left of the boulder.
Theories about the petroglyphs include maps of the Salmon and Snake rivers, constellations, and migration routes of various animals.
