Old stores, Shaniko, Oregon
Shaniko calls itself "Oregon's best ghost town", but there are still about 30 people living there and many make their living from tourists. There are still several shops selling antiques, ice cream, etc, as well as interesting older buildings and abandoned cars. Shaniko was a railroad terminus by 1900, and was the largest inland wool shipping center in the world by 1903.
